These very handsome, sturdy and unusual lighthouse form antique andirons are made of cast brass with iron fire dogs. The lighthouses sit on a rocky base and there are smaller brass lighthouses mounted as log stops on the dogs. Great patina on the brass and some rust staining on the iron, with some running on to the rocky base. From a Nantucket home, they would clean up very nicely and are in excellent usable condition. 16 in. tall, 22 in. deep. Weight 22 1/2 lbs. each.
