This most unusual and undoubtedly unique antique rocking chair is a great rarity. It features a blackfish or pilot whale skull set in as a backsplat and is embellished with 14 diamond-shaped bone inlays, a section of bone and 3 sea shells. In original condition, it is very sturdy. It is approximately 26 inches high and 18 inches across the front of the seat. 19th century.
