2348 Rare and Important Nantucket Family Tree

This early 19th C. Nantucket family tree is for Obadiah Wood, born 1756 and Martha Tupper, born 1762 who were married in 1784. It documents their 9 children. The drawing which is by Edward D. Burke, is very decorative with floral and leaf embellishments. 10 in. x 8 in., sight. In worn but stable condition. Illustrated on page 207 in Carpenter, The Decorative Arts and Crafts of Nantucket.
