Superb shadowbox model of a sidewheeler on the Hudson River. The painted background shows Storm King on the right and Cold Spring to the left. An old label on the top reads: "Half Model SideWheel Boat representing one of the old Hudson River vessels". Late 19th C. 27 1/4 in x 39 in. x 7 in. Excellent condition.
This is one of two superb shadow box ship models which we have recently acquired. They are among the best we have seen in many, many years.
