Two-masted schooner weathervane with painted wood hull and zinc sails. 25 in. high, 39 in. long. Attributed to Frank Adams, Martha's Vineyard, Mass. 1st half of the 20th C. Good condition, with typical repaint.
Frank Adams, 1871-1944, began making weathervanes in his shop in West Tisbury on Martha's Vineyard in 1925, at the age of 54. He continued building them until his death in 1944.
