"Sperm Whaling with its Varieties", a scarce colored lithograph printed in Boston in 1870 by J.H. Bufford after a drawing by Benjamin Russell. Russell was a well known New Bedford whaling artist and the picture shows various aspects of sperm whaling. It is in an attractive modern frame with French matting. oa. 41in. x 26 in.
